In Miami, he serves as the resident DJ and curator for SIP SIP at the Mayfair House & Garden.
Neil's journey in hospitality began in 2017 when he consulted on sound design for E&C Studio in Soho. His passion for the project led him to manage its programming, where he helped launch a dynamic nightclub and restaurant space that hosted notable performances, including those by Dave Chappelle, John Mayer, Q-TIP, The Pharcyde and Wyclef Jean. E&C Studio also provided a platform for emerging DJs who have since risen to prominence.
In 2018, Neil joined forces with Serge Becker, a key figure behind iconic NYC venues (The Box, La Esquina, Joe’s Pub & Miss Lily’s), to serve as Musical Director at Alley Cat Amateur Theater in The Beekman Hotel, overseeing programming, production and audio engineering. He is now in his eighth year programming DJs and live bands at The Seaport and Pier 17, alongside DJ residencies at various Miami venues.
Before his foray into DJing, Neil was an influential A&R man during hip-hop’s Golden Era, managing and developing top artists in rap and reggae. He produced records for Chris Blackwell at Island Records and contributed to groundbreaking projects with legendary figures such as The RZA and DJ Premier. As Label Manager at Island Jamaica Records, he played a crucial role in revitalizing the reggae industry and launching the careers of artists such as Beenieman, Luciano and Sizzla.
Neil's extensive experience includes A&R work at Gee Street/ Richard Branson’s V2 Records, where he contributed to albums by The Jungle Brothers, The Gravediggaz, RZA’s gold album Bobby Digital In Stereo, Afu-RA and Ky-mani Marley. He also executive produced the successful "Senseless" soundtrack, featuring the gold single "Gatta Be Moving on Up” featuring PM Dawn. Neil has toured globally, managing artists Afu-Ra & Jesse Royal and establishing the careers of several major reggae talents.
From 2010 to 2014, he consulted for VP Records, where he produced & launched the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival in NYC and collaborated on major marketing projects during the 2012 London Olympics. With AEG, he co-created “Respect Jamaica 50,” celebrating Jamaica’s 50th anniversary of it’s independence with a series of concerts in London featuring top talent. With Puma, Neil worked with the Puma marketing team on experiential marketing pop up, PUMA YARD on Brick Lane.
Neil’s discography also includes producing albums for iconic band the Bad Brains and the classic dancehall compilation Stone Love "Champion Sound Vol. 1." His commitment to music continues to shape the cultural landscape in both NYC and Miami as a sought-after DJ and music curator.
